Operational high reliability

￭ Based on the HPS (Hitless Protection System) non-disruptive protection system, the key components of the S8500, such as the system main control unit, power supply system, and fan system, all adopt redundant design. All system modules can be hot-swapped to support seamless switching in the event of a failure. No manual intervention is required.

￭ S8500 supports STP/RSTP/MSTP protocol, VRRP protocol, and also supports ring network protection, dual-uplink active/standby link protection, LACP link aggregation and other simple and efficient redundancy protection mechanisms.

￭ Support ISSU (In-Service Software Upgrade) business uninterrupted system upgrade, and GR (Graceful Restart) graceful restart for OSPF/BGP and other routing protocols to ensure the uninterrupted forwarding of user data during system upgrades and master control switching.
